Kenya Population Based HIV Impact Assessment Survey (KENPHIA II)

Kenya Population-Based HIV Impact Assessment (KENPHIA) II provides key information for health policymakers and implementers on the extent of the HIV pandemic, the impact that recent and ongoing HIV programming is having on the pandemic, and a gap assessment of key areas requiring further focus in the fight against HIV.

Objective

To estimate the national incidence and prevalence of Viral Load Suppression(VLS), the coverage and impact of HIV services at the population level and to characterize HIV-related risk behaviors using a nationally representative sample of adults (defined as participants aged 15+years) and young adolescents (defined as participants aged 10-14 years). We will also sample children (6weeks to 9 years).
